Components for GNSS projects

Components to improve GNSS solutions are available, especially antennas for PCB-mounted and wearable applications. Ceramic patch antennas with circular polarization are also available for internal or external mounting, with a wide opening angle to capture signals from as many satellites as possible.

Amplifiers with low-noise reference designs can improve sensitivity, as well as compact modules that include antennas, filters, and amplifiers.

Single SAW filters that allow GNSS signals to pass, along with precise TCXO oscillators, can further improve sensitivity.

For battery-operated GNSS applications, supercapacitors and batteries are available, including coin cells.
